World Cup Dream Still On For Bahran And Singapore

Bahrain and Singapore have confirmed their promotion from the ICC World Cricket League Division Six, and with it their dream of qualification for the 2015 World Cup remains alive.

Hosts Singapire had already cemented their place at the top of the table prior to the last round of fixtures but by beating Malaysia by four wickets, they both maintained a perfect record throughout the tournament and effectively ended Malaysia's chances of progression.
Bahrain needed to beat Norway to seal a second successive promotion having won Division Seven earlier in the year and they did so emphatically, the margin of victory an impressive 233 runs.
Guernsey and Botswana are also in action, the victor in that match avoiding relegation to Divison Seven. Malaysia will remain in Division Six while Norway had already been condemned to relegation.
Singapore and Bahrain will now take their place in Division Five in Nepal in February.
